Mixed Media Monthly Challenge - Mixed Media Book Cover #3

Hi everyone! First things first, don't forget to check out the new crafty forum at Happy Little Stampers. It's brand new so let's give Kylie (the owner) some love and support :)

I found this new Mixed Media Monthly Challenge, yay! I'm really excited and since I was doing my new book anyways, I've decided to use it for my submission. Click on the banner below to join it!

For this cover, I'm using only Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and a touch of Distress paint.

Firstly, I gave a good coat of gesso on the cover. Front and back.

I used Balzer Bits heart shape to just to get the heart shape there but you can draw it yourself. And Dylusions stencil for the background.

I stuck all my embellishments where on the heart shape stencil was and covered them with gesso.

Now, for the fun part. I started with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starbust, Wild Honeysuckle Coral for the background.

Moving on to Lindy's Starburst Rambling Rose Pink and Moonshadow Jolly Roger Red for the embellishments

I added some Tarnished Brass Distress Paint to highlight some of the the embellishments.

This is how the back looks. It's just gesso and Lindy's Starburst Wild Honeysuckle Coral.

Materials Used
Dina Wakley White Gesso
Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Ramblin' Rose Pink
Lindy's Stamp Gang Moonshadow Mist Jolly Roger Red
Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Wild Honeysuckle Coral
