Hi everyone! I thought I could start this with the relaunch of my website but due to some changes, the website will be open a bit later. Hopefully, in a week :) Stay tuned!
Anyways, I'm starting a new series on my blog. As you can see above, it's called, Inspired By Friends. A couple times a month, I will have a friend to join me in this event. Each of us will make a card inspired by the other person's card.
Today, I am inspired by Anja Curvers! She's a friendly crafter and we are both on the DT of Create A Smile Stamps. I love her unique ideas she has when it comes to making cards. I hope you'll drop by Anja's blog to see what she has made! :)
This is the card from her blog that I was inspired by :
I love the words in the die cut. It looks like an embellishment. This is what I came up with.
I used the biggest butterfly die from Simon Says Stamps Petite Butterflies Die Set to cut a window and filled it with sentiments from the Altenew Bejeweled Stamp set. The words are heat embossed in gold and I added a light wash of purple and pink watercolour.
To add some more details, I took the smallest butterfly die and cut out a small black butterfly and added a sentiment from the Altenew Scribbled Flowers Stamp set.
That is all! Let me know if you will be interested to be a part of this event.
Thank you for stopping by! Don't forget that you can also find me on instagram (mjeggtofu)!
