My Art Journal Journey - Part 2

My next page on my paper bag Art Journal. This is also my entry to Flying Unicorn's mixed media challenge.

Just some steps to share to you how I achieved my page and the finished page is all the way at the bottom if you'll like to jump to it. Hope you like it!

I bought myself some cheap acrylic paint just because I'm not doing anything professional but I just want the colours. So this is enough for me. I used both blues as a background.

I muted the blues with gesso.

I used circle stencils from Plaid and mist it with tattered angels mists. I was trying to go for a "sky" background.

I used more of tattered angels glimmer mist and paints to make these "raindrops". I painted a line at the top of the paper and let it drop.

I used the pink paislee's stencil and spread some texture paste on it to create dimension.

Ta-daaa

Added the same paints from before to continue the drips on the texture paste. I find that it brings out the droplets and the ones before acts as some kind of shadow.

I found this quote on Pinterest and here's the finished page!

Thanks for stopping by!
