CAS-ual Fridays - Challenge #140

Hi everyone! Welcome to another month of CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!

For this month,  you're challenge to create something with tan, white and bright colour.  I did went aboard and used two bright colours hehe :) Hope you like it!

CAS-ual Fridays - Challenge #139

Hi everyone! Happy Birthday to CAS-ual Fridays! Congratulations! :D

For this birthday month, the challenge is make a card that includes the colours of CAS-ual Fridays. They are : white, orange, black and turquoise.  Not a colour combination I've used but I love the challenge and I hope you like it.

I used some washi tape to make some stripes on my watercolour paper using my Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. To add the orange, I thought I'd add some flowers using the  Casual Trees Dies to the borders of the card. Finishing it up with a bold black center with a stark white embossing sentiment from the Bold Wishes Set.

CAS-ual Fridays - Challenge #138

Hi everyone! Hello April! Wow. We are almost half way through the year. It's going pretty fast huh.

For this month, the challenge is make a card that includes Kraft + Flowers + Twine. Now, I have not been using twine a lot because I am terrible at tying a bow with it but I'll give it a shot :) 

I love how Kraft papers can make things look softers. With that in mind, I've decided to use some soft colours and stamped out some flowers using the Casual Comfort Stamp Set. I wanted to leave an open area on my card front that's why I've only stamped the flowers and leaves on the two corners. I took my white gel pen and made dots on the centers of the flowers to give it a bit of interest.

CAS-ual Fridays - Challenge #137

Hi everyone! First of all, welcome back to my blog. I'm currently in Philippines right now but I'm still excited to share with you a new challenge for CAS-ual Fridays!

For this month, the challenge is make a Musical Theme card using Spring Colours. Now, I'm a bit unsure as to what kind of colours I should use for spring so I hope I got this right.

Basically, I gathered some cardstock I thought would match and are within the spring colour scheme and die cut each colour using the Heart Note Fri-Dies. To add more interest, I've heat embossed in gold with some florals from the Casual Comfort Stamp Set. I finished the card off with the lovely sentiment from the Wallflower Stamp Set.

CAS-ual Fridays - Challenge #136

Hi everyone! First of all, welcome back to my blog. I'm currently in Germany right now but I'm still excited to share with you a new challenge for CAS-ual Fridays!

For this month, the challenge is to use watercolour with a love theme to your card. I know many of you out there have tried watercolouring and probably love them. If not, here's your chance!

I've basically took a border stamp and stamped it multiple times to create this background on a watercolour paper. After I've heat embossed it in white, I pressed some distress ink colours to create a random wash of watercolour background. This is really easy to do and you can use any colours you want.

CAS-ual Fridays - Challenge #135

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great celebration. I had my new year celebration over at one of the Thailand islands called Koh Lipe. Okay, enough about me. Let's get to the card.

So excited to share with you my first card as a DT member. The first challenge of the year is...

I have to be honest with you, I was quite nervous to do this challenge because I'm still new when it comes to using sequins and I've never used felt in any projects before. But I'm still excited to show you what I've came up with.

The Girl Friday Mystery Reveal Blog Hop!

Welcome to The Girl Friday Mystery Reveal Blog Hop!
12 amazingly talented designers are joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Team! We have been sworn to secrecy for the past few months, and today we finally get to spill our beans! 

I'm a Girl Friday!!!! :D 

OMG! It was so hard to keep it a secret. I'm so blessed to be chosen to be a part of this awesome team. I was participating in a number of challenges at CAS-ual Fridays and it was the first challenge that I won something. It's something I will never forget and being on the team is so special to me :) This is a card that I've made specially for this hop. 

I'm using the Cupid's Arrow stamp set with it's coordinating dies, Heart Board Fri-Dies. I wanted the arrow to shoot through the heart so I thought by stamping a part of the sentiment on the smallest heart would be a great idea. I wanted to keep the rest of the card simple as I want to keep the attention to the stamp and dies :)
