Made With Love - 3 Cards with Distress Inks

Hi everyone! I'm excited to show my first batch of card for the Made With Love Design Team. Made With Love is a craft store in Singapore. If you're living in Singapore, drop by the store! It's at a mall called Somerset 313. Today I will share three cards and all of them feature Distress Inks / Markers.

The first card, I used the Ranger Watercolour Cardstock and made stripes using the distress markers.

Then, I took a wet brush and start to "paint". This removes any harsh lines, blending the neighbouring colours and to give that watercolour look.

The next card, I started by heat embossing the background stamp with Ranger Clear embossing powder. I smooshed some ink on a slick surface so that I want directly use my cardstock and pick up the colours. This gives me a more sponteneous but organic look :) You can always tap it more to get more colours.

The last card, I started by making stripes using some washi tape to masked off the white parts and I used the black soot distress ink to make the stripes.

I didn't make it all the way through because it will be covered.
